Application Criteria
This home is designed for people whose capacity to live independently is impacted by disability and long-term mental health and wellbeing concerns. This may include people with an intellectual disability, cognitive impairment, an acquired brain injury or are neurodivergent and have co-occurring mental health concerns.
The current residents are all men, aged between 40 – 60 years old. It’s a social and lively home with residents who enjoy engaging in conversation. Residents also value their personal space and respecting others boundaries.
The initial eligibility screening is:
- Be between 18-64 years of age
- Have the financial means to pay for rent and utilities
- Have an NDIS plan to fund 24/7 onsite shared support and Specialist Disability Accommodation (at a Robust or Improved Liveability level)
- Require support to be able to live independently and manage positive mental health and wellbeing
